When the plant was built in 1995 it was the first of its kind in the world to successfully manufacture particleboard from wheat straw utilizing MDI resins in place of resins containing urea formaldehyde. Today technology leadership continues as we have successfully mastered the art of blending different resources with wheat straw, such as sunflower hulls, to achieve more desirable particleboard properties and/or appearances.
